The Quality Assurance system for the study programmes pertaining to the Department includes an internal Teaching Committee that coordinates various study programmes, study programme QA delegates for each of the four Academic Boards and for the Interdepartmental Academic Board, two Teaching Staff-Student Joint Committees (CPDS) – one for the Academic Boards for the programmes in Earth Sciences and in Science and Technology for the Diagnosis and Preservation of Cultural Heritage, one for the Interdepartmental Academic Board for the programme in Natural Sciences. 

This organization allows for continuous monitoring of teaching activities and student satisfaction, as well as general, specific and contingent issues. Student feedback is gathered through assemblies managed independently by student representatives on Academic Boards.

The faculty members in charge of QA at the study programme level take action to improve the quality of teaching and for the accreditation of study programmes. For more information on the functions of the faculty members in charge of QA, visit the teaching QA page   on the University website.
